Purchasing Info
The Hip Gallery has simplified the purchasing process by offering a uniform pricing structure for both digital and printed products. Purchasing images is done at time of checkout through a SSL encrypted page via paypal or credit card.
Here’s how it works:
Once you have found your image(s) through either browsing our galleries or using the search bar, you will be presented with the various purchasing options for each photo you view. See the Reference section at the bottom of this page for our complete list of products. Also please note that not all options are available for all images.
Select your product and quantity (if applicable) then click add to cart. If you have any questions about how you can use a rights managed photo, we have given a brief explanation below in the Reference section. Also please see our “agreements” section under about us for full details on Rights Managed Images.
You may also add an image to a lightbox
. The Lightbox is YOUR collection of images. You may add up to 30 images to your lightbox. If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to purchase and click on the "add to cart" button. The lightbox is helpful when you would like to share images with clients, partners, friends, family before deciding to purchase.Once you are done shopping you can go to your shopping cart and check out through the SSL encrypted payment portal. You will need to be logged in to complete this process. Make sure all your account info is correct including shipping address before checking out.
If you buy a digital copy (rights managed) image, you will see the download icon
under My Account > Order Information Page. Click this icon to download your file as a zip file.Product Return Policy:
If you are not satisfied with a print order, please contact our returns department at sales@thehipgallery.com. You must contact us prior to any return and we will give you specific return instructions. If your order is delivered damaged, it is your responsibility to contact the shipper.IMPORTANT: Save all packing materials. Failure to do so can cause the shipper to deny your claim. Also you are responsible for ensuring any and all digital downloaded rights managed media are sized correctly for your particular application.

Standard Prints
All standard prints are printed on Lustre E paper. Lustre E paper is the most widely used professional photo paper and has a fine grain pebble texture.

Metal Prints
Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. The high gloss coating takes on an almost magical luminescence. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the archival qualities of this unique process are unparalleled. You've never seen a more brilliant impressive print before! Colors are vibrant and the luminescence is breathtaking. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed. Metal prints will be printed on a high gloss surface which shows every detail. It will come with float mount blocks to keep the print 1/2" off the wall. Corners will be square and not rounded.

Processing Time Standard print process times are typically 1 business day. Metal print process times are typically 3 business days. Processing time does not include shipping time, which will depend upon your location. All orders will be shipped via UPS Ground. Please ensure your shipping address is your physical address and not a PO Box.
Rights Managed Full Usage Full Resolution digital download
Examples of use with this license may include print in newspapers, magazines, books, advertising, promotional flyers, and so on. You cannot use the image(s) for logos, on-demand products, or resale. Also you may not exceed the maximum number of prints allowed for this license. We have given great flexibility for this license, but if your particular needs are beyond the scope of this agreement, we are happy to accommodate your request.
